ARA — the Algarve Rent-a-Car Companies Association is the promoter of the Algarve by Car project.

Founded in 2010 and currently comprising 29 members, ARA aims to strengthen the car rental sector by ensuring quality and professional standards aligned with market demands.

ARA also aims to enhance the Algarve's image as a premier tourist destination through national and international promotional activities, such as the Algarve by Car project.
